Beef with Peppers

1 1/2 pounds beef round steak -- tenderized and cut -- into strips
1 onion -- chopped
2 cloves garlic -- minced
dash ground pepper
1/2 cup instant white rice
3 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
2 green bell peppers -- cut into strips

In slow cooker, combine steak, onion, garlic, pepper, warm water, rice and bouillon. Cook for 8 to 10 hours on low. Before serving, dissolve cornstarch in cold water. Stir green peppers and cornstarch mixture into steak mixture. Stir for 10 minutes, or until thickened. Serves 4 to 6.
