4 pounds pork or beef roast
1 medium onion -- sliced
1/2 cup hickory smoke flavored barbecue sauce
3 cups water
3/4 cup regular barbecue sauce
Cook meat and onion in slow cooker on high for 4 to 6 hours or on low overnight. Drain water and throw out onion. Add barbecue sauces and cook on low for 1 hour.
