2 pounds beef roast
1 cup chopped onions
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon crushed oregano
1 minced garlic clove
10 oz can diced green chiles
28 oz can diced tomatoes
Place meat in slow cooker, top with rest of ingredients in order given. Cook on high for 5 hours. Do not open or stir, using a wooden spoon break up meat, cover and cook on low for 2 more hours. At this point make sure all the meat is shredded; remove and shred by hand if need by. Return to slow cooker and cook for the remaining hour. Serve rolled in flour tortillas, topped with lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, black olives, guacamole or salsa.
