Cheesy Easy Chicken

2 lbs. skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 10 3/4 oz can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 10 3/4 oz can condensed cream of cheese soup
salt and freshly ground pepper

Put the chicken breast halves in the slow cooker. In a medium bowl, combine the condensed cream of chicken soup and condensed cheddar cheese soup, then pour the mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook on Low 6 to 8 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hour, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.

Before serving, stir the chicken and sauce, and season them with salt and pepper to taste.

Makes 8 servings.
Jim's Comments:

I only made two chicken breasts, and I made no other substitutions.

I used a 1 1/2 quart slow cooker, only because I wasn't making eight servings. If I was making the full eight servings for this recipe, I'd probably use a 4 1/2 quart or five quart slow cooker..

I like three ingredients, and it took me maybe six/seven minutes to make the recipe. Well, it took that long because I couldn't find the can opener, but once I did, the effort was so minimal it wasn't funny.

Nice taste and it rated a 'make again'. I served it with a baked potato and boiled carrots. Made a nice meal.

The cheese flavor was 'mild', and I may augment the soup with some Velveeta next time, but you didn't need a knife for the chicken.
