Beef Stew with Shiitake Mushrooms

12 new potatoes -- quartered
1 medium onion -- chopped
1 bag baby-cut carrots - (8 oz)
1 package fresh shiitake mushrooms - (3. 4 oz) -- sliced
1 can diced tomatoes - (14 1/2 oz) -- undrained
1 can condensed beef broth - (10 1/2 oz)
1/2 cup flour
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dried marjoram leaves
1/4 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
1 pound beef stew meat -- cut into 1/2" pieces


Mix all ingredients except beef in slow cooker. Add beef. Cover and cook on LOW heat 8 to 9 hours or until vegetables and beef are tender. Stir well before serving.
