Beef with Cauliflower
1 1/2 lbs. round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 small head cauliflower, cut into florets
1 cup sliced green onions with tops
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. sugar
1 (10 1/2--oz. ) can beef broth
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup water
1 green pepper, cut into 1/2--inch pieces
4 tbsp. quick--cooking tapioca
Combine steak, cauliflower, onion, garlic, sugar, broth, soy sauce and water in slow cooker. Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours.
Increase heat to High and add green pepper and tapioca, stirring well to blend. Cover and cook for 30 minutes.
Serve over rice.
