Double Duty Beef

3 pounds boneless beef chuck -- cut 1" pieces
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 1/2 cups chopped onions
1 tablespoon minced garlic
3/4 cup ready-to-serve beef broth

Combine beef, flour, salt and pepper in plastic bag; shake to coat evenly. Place beef and any remaining flour mixture in slow cooker. Add onions and garlic; mix well. Add broth. Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours or until beef is tender. (No stirring is necessary during cooking. )
