Barbecue Ribs

3 lb Spareribs; (up To 4)
Salt And Pepper
16 oz Bottle Barbecue Sauce ---or-- 2 c Homemade Barbecue Sauce


Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper and or other seasonings. Place ribs under broiler, on 350 degrees, for 30 minutes to brown and remove excess fat. Slice broiled ribs into serving pieces and put in slow cooker. Pour in barbecue sauce. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. (High: 4 to 5 hours).
