Jim's Comments:

I didn't substitute anything in this recipe. However, I used generic cans of corn.

I used a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker for this recipe. It was approximately half full and there was burning on the insert.

When I first made this recipe, I plugged the cooker in and didn't set the temperature control, so when it was time to serve, it was uncooked. So it went in to the fridge for the next day.

And basically, it was worth the wait.

Everyone like the recipe. Sort of creamy corn with macaroni.

Nice enough to satisfy any picky eater. Especially when you can't tell that there's cream corn in it. (I gag when I get a fork of cream corn near my mouth.)

I'd make this again.
