Beef Stew

2 lb lean cut beef roast cut in cubes
4 carrots chopped
1 large onion chopped
2 cups chopped cabbage
5-8 potatoes cubed (no need to peel)
1 can diced tomatoes with juice
1/4 cup beer
1 pkg. or 1 cup beef gravy
1 stalk chopped celery
2 cloves garlic chopped
1 bay leaf (remove before serving)
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
salt, pepper and Mrs dash to taste
1 1/2 cups water or tomato juice

Put all in a big pot or large slow cooker and simmer on low 4-6 hours until meat is no longer pink and veggies are tender.
