1 1/2 lb Ground beef
1 Egg, beaten
1/2 c Bread crumbs
1/2 c Tomato juice
3 tb Chopped onion
3 tb Chopped bell pepper
3 tb Chopped celery
2 ts Seasoned salt
1/4 ts Thyme
Catsup or chili sauce
Using a fork, mix all the ingredients, except the catsup and pepper rings.
Shape into a loaf and put into greased slow cooker. Top with catsup and pepper rings. Cover and cook on high for 1 hour, then on low 6 to 8 hours. Quartered potatoes coated with butter may also be cooked with this recipe. A dash of Paprika will give them a nice browned look. (Same cooking time)
