Jim's Comments:

I used fresh mushrooms rather than canned. They were on special this week. I omitted the horseradish.

The recipe was made in a 5 quart oval slow cooker.

The meat turned out moist and tasty. It had been a while since I had a meatloaf, so it was a nice treat that it turned out as nice as it did.

There was so much of it, we had it again the next night for supper with mashed and peas. We both felt that the flavor did not improve in 24 hours and was much tastier the first day.

I'd make this recipe again, but I'm going to follow the recipe religiously because the fresh mushrooms turned black and it wasn’t all that attractive to look at.
