2 c. water
1 tsp salt
1 c. yellow cornmeal
4 tart apples, peeled, cored and sliced
3 tbsp butter or margarine
Pour the water into the slow cooker, add the salt and stir in the cornmeal and apple slices. Cover and cook on Low for 5-6 hours.
Didn't quite come together in a slow cooker. All I could taste was cornmeal, then apple, then cornmeal, etc.
I definitely wouldn't put this on my 'Make Again" list.
