1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
8 chicken thighs
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
Put dry ingredients into a medium-size paper bag. Shake to mix. Add chicken, and shake well to coat chicken. Heat oil in large skillet, add chicken and brown.
Put 1/2 of the BBQ sauce in slow cooker, add chicken, add remaining BBQ sauce. Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, covered.
