Green Chile Stew

3 lbs. lean, boned round steak or roast, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 10 oz. can green chiles, diced
4 onions, chopped
4 fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped, or 1 15 oz can tomatoes
1 cup water
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp. oregano


Place all ingredients in a slow cooker . Cover and cook on low 8 - 10 hours.

Serves 6.
