Hot Mulled Cider

1 jar (48 ounces) cranberry juice cocktail
1 can (46 ounces) unsweetened pineapple juice
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons whole cloves
3/4 teaspoon whole allspice
3 sticks cinnamon
Orange or apple slices


In 3-quart saucepan over medium heat, combine all ingredients except fruit slices. Cook until mixture comes to a gentle boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes to blend flavors. To serve, pour into warmed punch bowl. Remove spices, if desired. Float orange or apple slices for garnish. Ingredients may be combined and heated in 3-quart slow cooker. Serve directly from slow cooker. Rum can be served alongside for those who like a little extra holiday spirit. Makes 15 Servings.
