Whole Wheat Banana Bread

2/3 cup margarine or butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup bananas (2 to 3 bananas) - mashed
2 eggs
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup pecans or walnuts - chopped
1/4 cup wheat germ
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Grease and flour inside of Bread 'n Cake Bake Pan.

Cream margarine with electric mixer. Blend in sugar. Add mashed bananas and eggs. Beat until smooth.

In small bowl, combine flour, pecans, wheat germ, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Pour into prepared Bake Pan. Place lid on pan. Put Bake Pan in slow cooker Slow Cooker. Cover Slow Cooker. Cook on HIGH 3 to 4 hours. Check after 3 hours for doneness. Bread is done when it is pulling away from sides of Bake Pan.

When bread is done remove Bake Pan from Slow Cooker. Let bread cool then invert bread on plate and invert again for serving.
