1 (21 oz) can cherry or apple pie filling or other flavor - your choice
1 (18-1/4 oz) pkg. yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
1/3 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped (optional)
Place the pie filling into the slow cooker. Combine the dry cake mix and melted butter; mix until crumbly then sprinkle over pie filling. Sprinkle the nuts on top. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 3 hours.
