Brownie Bottoms

1/2 cup packed brown sugar
Water
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 1/2 cups packaged brownie mix
1 (2 3/4-ounce) package INSTANT chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
2 eggs
3 tablespoons butter OR margarine, melted


Lightly grease a 4-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar, 3/4 cup water and cocoa powder and bring to a boil.

In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients and 1/2 cup water to form a batter. Spread batter in slow cooker; pour boiling mixture over batter. Cover; cook on high heat setting 1 1/2 hours. Turn off heat and let stand 30 minutes. Serve warm topped with whipped cream or ice cream. Makes 6 servings.
