Chuck Roast and Peppers
1 chuck roast
1 jar banana peppers
1 clove garlic, slivered
fresh ground pepper
Cut obvious fat from chuck roast. Cut slits in roast and insert garlic slivers. Sprinkle salt & pepper over roast. Brown on all sides. Place roast in slow cooker. Open jar of banana peppers and pour over roast, juice included. Cook on low 8 hrs or longer. Serve with macaroni & cheese, fresh salad & rolls.
