Barley Potato and Amaranth Stew

1 1/2 c Barley
1 lg Potato; peel, chop into bite size pieces
1/2 c Amaranth
1/2 ts Garlic powder; or to taste
1 tb Parsley; or to taste
1/2 ts Oregano; or to taste
1/2 ts Marjoram; or to taste
2 c Water; to cover, Keep adding water as necessary
1 c Corn, frozen
1/2 Onion; to taste

Toss everything in the slow cooker and start it on low. Add water as necessary to make it thick like a stew. Cook until tender.
