Barley with Mushrooms and Green Onions
1 cup barley
1 can roasted garlic chicken broth - (14 1/2 oz)
1/2 cup thinly-sliced green onions
4 ounces fresh or canned mushrooms - (to 6 oz) -- sliced
Salt or seasoned salt -- to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper -- to taste
2 teaspoons butter or margarine
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 4 1/2 hours.
