Kielbasa and Kraut
4 or 5 pounds of above mentioned sausage
1 bag or can of sauerkraut, drained
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 can or bottle beer (light beer does not give much taste) You can substitute plain water for the beer
Cut sausages into pieces--larger than bite-size; smaller than halves Place kraut in pot--sprinkle brown sugar in and mix with kraut Put sausage in pot--mix with fork to get some kraut around the meat Pour beer over all Cook 6 hrs. on low or 4 hrs. on high
