Fast Frankfurter Appetizers

3 pounds frankfurters or precooked sausages
4 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup whiskey or bourbon
1 cup ketchup


Cut frankfurters or sausages into 1 inch pieces. Place frankfurters or sausages in the slow cooker with brown sugar, water, whiskey and ketchup. Set cooker on low for 1 hour; taste and increase ketchup if too strong. Serve directly from the pot.
