Salmon Or Tuna Pilaf
1/2 cup parboiled rice, uncooked
1 x 420g (15oz) tin tomatoes, chopped
1 small green pepper, seeded and chopped
1/4 t. paprika
1/2 t brown sugar
1 T grated onion
1 t dried chicken stock
185g (6oz) tuna
1 cup of cold water
Place rice, tomatoes, green pepper, paprika, brown sugar, onion and dried chicken stock in the slow cooker. Flake the fish carefully and add to the other ingredients with the water. Stir carefully to combine. Cover with lid and cook on low 4 - 6 hours or on high 2 - 3 hours.
