Vegetable Beef Soup

1 pound beef soup bones
1 can {14 1/2 oz. } tomatoes
2 carrots -- sliced
2 stalks celery -- sliced
1 medium onion -- diced
2 medium potatoes -- diced
3 cups water
1/2 teaspoon coarse black pepper
3 beef bouillon cubes
1 10 oz. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables

Place all ingredients except frozen mixed vegetables in slow cooker. Cover; cook on Low 8 to 12 hours, or on High for 4 to 6 hours. During the last 2 hours of cooking, add frozen mixed vegetables.
