Vegetable Soup

1 celery stalk -- chopped
1 small onion -- chopped
4 medium potatoes -- peeled, cubed
4 carrots -- sliced
1 can corn -- drained
1 can green beans -- drained
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato soup
1 can zucchini with tomato sauce
1 pound ground chuck -- browned, drained (or ham cubes or leftover cubed roast)
Salt -- to taste
Freshly-ground black pepper -- to taste
4 cups water

Put everything in slow cooker (about 6-quart capacity) and cook on HIGH for 6 hours or on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
