Chocolate Bread Pudding

6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 cups hot water
2/3 cup sugar

Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.

Melt chocolate chips. In a bowl mix Bisquick, nuts, 1/3 cup sugar, milk, oil, vanilla, and egg. Beat vigorously. Add melted chips. Pour into slow cooker. Heat water and dissolve 2/3 cup sugar. Pour over top. Cook on low 8-10 hours. Serve with ice cream or cool whip.
