Country Stew

1 lb. beef
2 1/2 carrots, sliced
1 1/2 onions, chopped
3 potatoes, chopped
1 1/2 ribs celery, sliced
14 oz. can whole tomatoes with juice, cut up
1 cup water
3 tbsp. Minute tapioca
1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
Salt & Pepper, to taste
Ground allspice, marjoram or thyme, to taste
1 bay leaf
5 oz. frozen sweet peas

Put all ingredients (except peas) into slow cooker. Mix all of the above together, turn on low & cook all day. About 1/2 to 1 hour before serving, add frozen peas & turn slow cooker to high setting.
