2 1/2 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs - (to 3 lbs)
1 tablespoon oil
1 large onion -- quartered, and sliced 1/4" to 1/2" thick
1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 garlic cloves -- minced
1 dash black pepper
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon celery seed
Trim off excess fat from ribs. In a large skillet, brown ribs in oil; transfer to the slow cooker. Place onion slices over ribs. Combine all sauce ingredients; pour evenly over ribs and onions. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours.
