Deer Stew

deer meat, cut into pieces
6 medium-sized potatoes
1 large onion, cut up
1 pkg. McCormick's beef stew seasoning mix
flour, salt and pepper to taste
6 carrots, sliced in 1/4-inch
3 stalks celery, sliced 1/4-inch


Dredge meat in flour, salt and pepper. Brown in oil. Put the meat in slow cooker. Add carrots, potatoes, onion and celery. Add beef stew mix. Cover with water. Cook on high heat 4 to 6 hours.
