Italian Beef

1 3-4 pound rump or chuck roast, well trimmed
1 28 oz. jar of Pepperocini or Tuscan Peppers
6-8 Hero Rolls


Place meat in a slow cooker. Pour the juice of the peppers into the slow cooker and add a few peppers (the more peppers, the spicier the meat will turn out. ) Turn on the slow cooker to HIGH for 30 minutes, then lower it to LOW. Let the meat cook on LOW for 12 hours. Remove the meat from the slow cooker and using two forks, shred the meat. Return to the meat to the juices and allow to reheat. Place forkfuls of the meat onto hero rolls and serve hot.
