Venison Cider Stew
1 to 2 lbs. venison stew meat
4 carrots, sliced thin
3 potatoes, sliced thin
1 apple, chopped
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. instant minced onion
1 cup apple cider
Place carrots, potatoes, and apple in slow cooker. Add meat and sprinkle with salt, thyme and minced onion. Pour cider over meat and cover. Cook on low heat 10 to 12 hrs. Thicken gravy. .
