Chili

2 lbs ground beef
1 1/2 cups chopped onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
2 garlic cloves, finely cut
1 28 oz can whole tomatoes undrained
2 16 oz cans kidney beans, undrained
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp cumin


Preheat pot on range top heating until over medium heat. Add ground beef and brown. Remove from heat and place pot on base. Add remaining ingredients; stir to combine. Cover and simmer at Setting #3 for 7-9 hours. Keep warm for serving at Setting #2.
