2 lbs. meat (stew meat or chopped beef or pork)
2 c. chopped celery
1 tsp. salt
1 T. molasses
3 or 4 T. soy sauce
1 can of sliced water chestnuts and juice
1 can of Chinese vegetables with juice
Combine above ingredients in slow cooker on high for 4 hours (low for 10 hours). Just before serving, add paste made of 3 T. cornstarch and 1/4 c. cold water to thicken. Serve over cooked rice or chow mien noodles. Serves 5-7
