Beer Beef Stew

1 kilo stew beef, cubed
carrots, peeled and cut in half
potatoes, peeled and quartered
whole onions, quartered
1 package of onion soup mix

Brown the beef. Put in slow cooker, and put carrots, potatoes, and onions on top. Sprinkle the soup mix over everything. Pour in beer. Cook for about 8 hours, depending on your pot. About an hour before it's finished, you can add cornstarch or flour to thicken the gravy.
