Sunday Rice Casserole

2 cups brown rice
3 cups water
1 cup cream
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 small onion -- diced
1 pound hamburger -- browned and drained

Put everything in slow cooker. Cover, turn on high and let cook for 3 or 4 hours. Serve as is or with ketchup or chili sauce. Quick and delicious!
