7 or 8 large Bartlett pears, peeled, cored, and cut into chunks
1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker (slow cooker) and stir. Cook on high until pears are very tender. Mash or beat with an electric mixer until the consistency of apple sauce. If the mixture is not thick enough, simply cook it a little longer to thicken.
Makes about 1 1/2 pints.
