Cranberry Orange Pear Slices

1 1/2 cups jellied cranberry sauce
1/4 cup orange juice
1 teaspoon orange peel
4 slightly under ripe pears -- peeled and sliced
3 cups nonfat vanilla ice cream

Place sauce, juice, peel, and pears in a slow cooker. Cover and cook until the pears are tender, 6 to 8 hours. Serve warm over the ice cream.
