Cocktail Stewed Tomatoes or Tomato Juice

6 to 8 tomatoes (2 lbs. )
1/4 cup chopped celery
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. prepared horseradish
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 or 2 drops bottled hot pepper sauce

Wash, peel, and core tomatoes. Place in slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients; stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hrs. Turn to HIGH; bring to boiling. Remove lid and cook 30 min. longer.

Tomato Juice: Place cooked tomato mixture in blender; cover and puree. Strain and chill.

Makes 3 cups
