Apple Cranberry Relish
8 cups apples -- peeled and sliced
12 ounces fresh cranberries
1 cup boiling water
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
Place apples, cranberries, boiling water, and 1 cup sugar in the slow cooker, set on low and cook for 4-6 hours. Mix remaining 1 cup sugar and cornstarch together and stir into cranberry mixture. Cook until sugar is dissolved and juice is clear. Cook and refrigerate until ready to serve.
