Applesauce Sauerkraut

4 cups sauerkraut -- rinsed, drained
2 cups sweetened applesauce
1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 tablespoon butter or margarine

Combine all ingredients. Place in a greased 3 1/2-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours.

This recipe yields 6 servings.
