Chicken Soup

1- 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 pound whole chicken (remove giblet, neck pack)
1 chopped onion
1 bunch of celery chopped
1 lb. bag of baby carrots
28 oz. fat free chicken broth
2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
1 teaspoon oregano
2 basil leaves
1 1/2 cups of converted rice


Place all ingredients in slow cooker EXCEPT rice. Cook on high at least 6 hours or low at least 10 hours. Before the last 2 hours of cooking, use pasta spoon to spoon out bones. Chicken will fall right off the bone. Add rice and finish cooking. You can add other vegetables to suit your individual taste.
