Chili Pasta Bake
1 1/2 Pounds lean ground beef
1 Cup onion -- chopped
28 Ounces tomatoes, canned -- mashed
2 Teaspoons chili powder
1/2 Teaspoon dried oregano
7 1/2 Ounces tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 Teaspoon pepper
1 1/4 Cups macaroni
1 Cup Monterey Jack cheese -- grated
Fry ground beef until browned. Drain and put in slow cooker. Add next eight ingredients, stir, cover. Cook on low for 5 to 7 hours, or on High for 2. 5 to 3. 5 hours. Sprinkle cheese over top. Cook on high 15 to 20 minutes until cheese melts. Makes 7 (1 cup) servings.
