Chili

1/2 pound bulk Italian sausage
1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup onion -- chop
1 can whole tomatoes with juice - (28 oz) -- cut up
1 can tomato sauce - (15 oz)
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon chili powder - (to 2 tspns)
1 teaspoon cumin -(to 1 1/2 tspns)
1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1 can spicy chili beans with juice - (15 oz)
1 can garbanzo beans - (15 oz) -- drained, rinsed

In large skillet, brown sausage, ground beef and onion; drain. In 3 1/2 or 4 quart slow cooker, combine meat and remaining ingredients. Cover; cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours.


This recipe yields 6 servings.
