Pineapple Pork Chops
4 Loin chops; cut 3/4" thick
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 c Pineapple chunks; drained
3/4 c Pineapple syrup
1/4 c Honey
2 tb Wine vinegar
1 tb Soy sauce
1/2 ts Powdered ginger
2 Green onions; sliced
1 Green pepper; cut in thin strips
Trim excess fat from chops; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brown in large skillet. Arrange chops in bottom of slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients except green onions and pepper strips; pour over chops. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours. Halfway through cooking add green onions and peppers. Thicken juices with 1 Tbsp cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup water, if desired.
