Festival Sausage

2 lbs. kielbasa or smoked sausage, sliced.
1 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup lemon juice.
3 Tablespoons cornstarch.
1/2 cup brown sugar.
1/4 teaspoon salt.
20 oz. can of pineapple chunks (don't forget to reserve the juice!)
1 large green pepper, cut into chunks.
1 large onion, cut into chunks.
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, drained.


Cook sausage until almost done. Drain grease. Cook juices, cornstarch and brown sugar until thick. Stir in the salt. Put sausage and fruit and veggies in slow cooker, then pour juice mixture over. Cook on low until serving time. Serve over rice.
