Hot Doggies

1/2 cup onion -- chopped
1/2 cup green pepper -- chopped
1 tablespoon oil
1 can tomato sauce -- (8 oz. )
2 tablespoon prepared mustard
2 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 lb hot dogs
1 can kidney beans
1 cup lettuce -- shredded
1 cup cheese - shredded


Combine all ingredients except cheese and lettuce in slow cooker. Stir well. Cover and cook on Low for 5 to 10 hours or on High for 2 to 3 hours. Toast buns and then fill each with hotdog and beans and top with lettuce and cheese.
