Barbecue Beef

2-3 lbs boneless chuck or arm roast -- remove excess fat
1 onion, chopped
24 oz bottle catsup
3 T Worcestershire sauce
1 t salt
1 green pepper, chopped (optional)
2 T vinegar
1/2 t. allspice
1 t. dry mustard
1 t. sugar


Mix all ingredients together in a slow cooker. Cover and simmer on low 8-10 hours. Pull meat into shreds with a fork. Serve on buns, over rice, or over noodles.
