Scalloped Potatoes

8 - 10 white potatoes
1 med. onion
1/2 pound cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 soup can boiling water
2 bouillon cubes
Pepper to taste
4 tbsp. butter

Scrub and peel, or not, potatoes. Slice potatoes thinly. Slice onions, and cheese. With about 1 tbsp of the butter, butter the slow cooker. Pour the soup into a small bowl. Put bouillon cubes into the soup can, and fill with boiling water. Dissolve bouillon cubes. Pour water into soup, whisking to mix well. Put potatoes, cheese, onions and black pepper in slow cooker. Mix together well using your hands. Pour the soup mix into the potatoes, dot with butter. Put on the lid. Cook 5 hours.
